TV personality Katie Piper met other parents-to-be at the Kiddicare superstore in Lombardy Retail Park, Coldharbour Lane, Hayes, yesterday (Friday).
Katie, who is an Inspirational Parents ambassador, is due to give birth next month, She was joined by 150 mums, dads and children at a coffee morning to celebrate the adventure of parenthood.
She shared her hopes and dreams for her first baby, while revealing how she is getting ready for motherhood.
She said: “I’ve been soaking up as much advice from new parents as possible. I now feel much more confident after listening to their inspiring stories!”
She added: “It’s so important for parents to share experiences, so we can all learn from each other – we’re all in the same boat after all!”
Katie is part of a panel of parents, including Paralympian Dame Sarah Storey, who are working with Kiddicare to inspire, support and learn from other parents’ experiences over the next year.
