ANGRY members of the University and College Union (UCU) are protesting tomorrow (Friday) lunchtime at Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College against funding cuts and job losses.
Lead UCU college negotiator Tim Dalrymple said: “Staff have felt let down by senior management over a series of years and fail to understand why they must pay the price for mistakes made by those at the top.”
Lecturers are angry at college plans to make £5m cuts, putting 85 staff at risk of redundancy.
Ealing protests will involve staff and students at the Southall, Ealing, Acton and Hammersmith campuses.
UCU said it is also planning to ballot its college members for strike action.
