Foodies will be delighted to hear the farmers market will return to the Heart shopping centre once again.

The best of British produce will be on offer, with a range of organic, home-grown, fresh and locally-prepared goods.

With the sun peeking from behind the clouds and spring just around the corner, now is the perfect time to enjoy an afternoon wandering around the outdoor market, taking in the scents which will tickle your taste buds.

Up to 40 stalls will be in the plaza at the Walton shopping centre, with a selection of tasty cakes, cheeses, locally bottled wines, soft drinks, jams and high quality meats.

Mark Middleton, general manager of the Heart, said: “We are always trying to offer something special at The Heart and the farmers’ markets have been a huge hit with our customers, providing home grown produce and a real taste of the countryside in their local shopping centre.

“If you haven’t been before, come along, I promise you’ll want to make it a regular event.”
