A PUBLIC meeting is being held tonight (Tuesday) to try to reassure neighbours about perceived gang culture following a fatal stabbing at a block of flats in St Dunstan's Close, Hayes, on Friday.

Paul Thrower, 46, died following a single stab wound to the heart.

The meeting is at Crane Community Centre in Fuller Way, 7pm.

A youth of 16 who was arrested in the wake of the incident has yet to be charged. He was bailed until April.

Police meanwhile are appealing for anyone who saw or heard anything to come forward.

They say they are looking for three suspects, described only as 'black'.

The incident happened around 9.30pm between the ground and third floor.
