Three men have jailed for more than 16 years for their part in conspiracy to supply cocaine worth £1.6million.
Nertil Curi, 28 of Ecclesbourne Close in Palmers Green, pleaded guilty at a previous trial and was sentenced to eight years and three months behind bars for conspiracy to supply class A drugs as well as 15 months to run concurrently for money laundering.
Gentjan Mataj, 24 of Linksinde Gardens, will serve a seven year sentence when he pleaded guilty for conspiracy to supply class A drugs and 15 months to run concurrently for money laundering.
Brikel Mataj, also of Linkside Gardens, was sentenced to 18 months in jail for conspiracy to supply class B drugs and 15 months will run concurrently for money laundering.
The trio were arrested on July 22, 2013 when officers made a pre-planned operation to arrest them on the North Circular.
They found seven kilos of cocaine with a street value of £1.6million.
Their search also uncovered £15,980 in cash from a ford focus which Brikel Mataj had the keys to as well as a bag hidden behind the passenger’s seat containing cannabis wrapped in cling film with a street value of £9,000.
Detective Inspector Steve Miles, who led the operation from the Met's Serious and Organised Crime Command (SCO7), said: "There is no doubt that we uncovered a highly sophisticated crime network involved in the distribution of drugs and money-laundering on a large scale.
“This investigation prevented £1.6 million-worth of a harmful Class A drug making it onto the streets of London and four people will now face a long time behind bars.
"We will continue our efforts to disrupt similar networks to take drugs off the streets of London."
