Businesses leaders are being given chance to find out more about how to keep their staff and company’s healthy.

The Healthy Workplace Charter will launch in Harrow on Wednesday next week and aims to help businesses improve the health of their staff.

The scheme, which is backed by Harrow Borough Council, helps companies gain three levels of qualification which will help their profile as an employer and possibly save them money in the long run.

Chairman of Harrow in Business Ash Verma said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Harrow Council on this important initiative because a healthy workplace means a healthy business, which is good for local employment.”

The scheme will be launched on Wednesday February 26 from 3pm to 5pm at Harrow college lecture theatre.

Business leaders interested in signing up to the programme can contact publichealth@harrow.gov.uk for more info.
