Star of BBC’s The Voice, Leo Ihenacho will be playing an intimate show at Streatham’s Hideaway.

The singer – nicknamed ‘Leo the Lion’ – will perform at the stylish SW16 venue on February 22.

Leo wowed The Voice judges Will.I.Am, Kylie Minogue, Tom Jones and Ricky Wilson this January with his soulful performance of Simply Red’s Holding Back The Years. He is now on the path to stardom after being selected by Kylie Minogue as one of her acts on the talent show.

The Voice isn’t Leo’s first taste of fame – he contributed vocals to notorious UK garage act The Streets from 2003-2007, singing alongside frontman Mike Skinner on the band’s Number One albums A Grand Don't Come For Free and The Hardest Way To Make An Easy Living. Most notably, Leo is widely known for featuring on the The Streets’ massive hit Fit But You Know It and their Number One single Dry Your Eyes.

He has performed to masses of fans on numerous sell-out tours – as well as at Reading/Leeds and V Festivals – but Leo the Lion will be facing a much smaller crowd in Streatham for his next performance.

Leo will be singing a selection of popular R&B and soul hits on the night, and will be accompanied by professional backing vocalists and a full live band.

The Hideaway restaurant will be offering a delicious selection of appetisers, main courses and desserts before the show with full waiter service available. The Hideaway Jazz Café up on the Streatham High Road will also be serving food, wine and coffee until 10pm.
