Now is your chance to shape the future of Epsom town centre and win yourself a £100 hamper of goodies from local shops.

For the first time since 2006, borough residents, visitors and the town's workers are being asked for their views on a range of topics, from car parking to shopping, CCTV to the night time economy.

The survey has been compiled by the borough's Local Strategic Partnership - which includes members of the public, businesses and voluntary groups.

Town centre manager Adam Worley said the results of the survey, which will be made public, will provide vital evidence that will be used by the council to shape the development of the town centre.

He said: "The commitment from the council is very great to implement change from this.

"This is a chance for all stakeholders to look at the things that can be changed and their views will inform the direction we take."

Mr Worley said the plan was to hold an annual survey from now on so they can regularly monitor what people think about the town centre.

He said he is in dialogue with businesses in the town about their views and wishes but this is the best way of finding out what everyone else thinks and wants.

The survey runs from today until March 7.  You can take part on the council's website and there will also be forms available at council buildings.

One participant will be chosen at random to win the hamper of goodies.
