Music students from Kingston University will perform a classical concert to raise money for Guide Dogs.
Classical for Canines will be held at St James’ Church in New Malden on March 1.
It has been organised by six second year music undergraduates who will all recite classical pieces both on their own and as part of an ensemble.
Holly Eade, one of the organisers, says: “This is not a university-run event or music society event.
“It is run by six music students, who will be performing along with others. “It is for a great cause and you will get to hear some classical music from Kingston University’s second year music students and ensembles, as they prepare for their end of year recitals.”
Money raised will go to Guide Dogs UK, which helps people with visibility problems gain support from trained dogs in their day-to-day lives.
There will also be an interval with refreshments, bake sale and a guest speaker from Guide Dogs UK.
