A PUBLIC school claims some GCSEs examination results were "misrepresented" in national coverage last month.
The independent Babington House School in Chislehurst said many of its pupils attained top grades in last year’s tests and argued its achievements weren’t recognised.
A spokesman added it was "appalling to see" the reports, claiming the noted percentages of students who achieved A* to C grades were incorrect.
The school also said the Department for Education has "made assurances that GCSE listings will be amended and correctly detailed by next month."
Headteacher Tim Lello added: "We will continue to get the very best results."
