Long locks became shapely bobs and unruly curls were tamed as hairdressing students raised hundreds of pounds for charity.
Students from Harrow College, in Brookshill, Harrow Weald, put their scissors to good use to support Age UK, selling cakes and cutting clients' hair in return for a small donation at the event shortly before Christmas.
They raised £300 at the event, shortly before Christmas and last week presented a cheque to Victoria Silver, vice chairman of the charity's Harrow branch.
