If you’re a fan of vinyl, then an evening recreating the infectious sounds of hit band ELO may take your fancy.
The Mr Blue Sky Tour will be coming to town, courtesy of the ELO Experience - a group who have come together to celebrate the music of the Electric Light Orchestra.
Back in the 1970s and 1980s, Jeff Lynne wrote vinyl classics for the original band, including Mr Blue Sky, Sweet Talking Woman, Turn to Stone, Evil Woman, Telephone Line, Confusion, Don’t Bring Me Down, and more.
Two decades on, and ELO’s music is still played on radio stations throughout the world. This show is currently touring UK theatres bringing the group’s songs back to the live stage.
Mr Blue Sky Tour; Epsom Playhouse, Ashley Avenue, Epsom, February 21; 7.30pm; £20; call 01372 742555; visit www.epsomplayhouse.co.uk.
