Woolly hat wearers in Cobham and Weybridge helped to raise more than £3,000 for a homeless charity.

Business professionals donned their best hats to get free access to Regus business lounges at Cobham motorway services and Brooklands Business Park on January 31, in exchange for donations to St Mungo’s.

The centres were among more than 100 across the south of England taking part in woolly hat day to help raise funds for the charity, which supports homeless people rebuild their lives away from homelessness.

John Spencer, CEO of Regus in the UK, said: “We were really pleased our local network of Regus centres in London and the south could help by taking part in woolly hat day and raise vital funds for such an important cause.

“We extend our thanks to everyone who got involved and made donations to St Mungo’s.”
