A 57-year-old woman was targeted in a burglary which saw £10,000 worth of jewellery snatched from her home.

Police are appealing for information after jewellery and cash was stolen from the woman’s home in Shrewsbury Avenue, East Sheen, on Thursday, January 30.

She had left the property locked at 7am, but returned at 7.10pm to find the back patio door had been forced open and the house ransacked.
