WITH all the rain we’ve had this year so far it’s been hard to escape the sight of water, so today we have a question on the wet stuff for you to tackle.

The rainfall has created some interesting – if unwanted – new water features around the area, so what we want to know is when does a large puddle become a pond and when does a pond become a lake?

Is it down to the body of water’s size, or depth? Does the type of water matter or whether the feature is natural or man-made?

Add your ideas – or definitive answers if you have them – below to help explain how these standing bodies of water should be identified.
