Barnet’s “fame school” wants more young people in the area to apply for scholarships worth up to £105,000.

The Susi Earnshaw Theatre School takes on the brightest young acting and performing talents from across the UK – but wants more young people from the local area to get involved.

The school, based at the Bull Theatre in High Barnet, offers one full scholarship and two half scholarships every year.

Applications have already come in from across the UK but founder Susi Earnshaw believes there could be undiscovered young talent closer to home.

She said: “We haven’t had a single application from anyone in Barnet and it is the same every year unfortunately.

“We want more people from the local area to apply. If they have the right attitude and they really want to do it we can bring out the talent in them.”

Anyone wishing to apply should email info@sets.org.uk. Scholarship auditions will take place on Saturday 15th February. For further information visit www.susiearnshaw.co.uk
