A mischievous fox got himself into a spot of bother when he went exploring on a shed roof.
The large fox got his paw caught on a shed roof in Cheam on Friday, December 27, and ended up getting stuck upside down.
The poor fox’s rear foot was torn in half while the bones were left protruding.
Luckily the Riverside Animal Centre in Beddington rescued him and have been nursing him back to health ever since.
The fox had to have an operation but is said to be healing well and will be looked after for at least another three to four weeks.
Perhaps he was out looking for a girlfriend in the midst of fox-mating season.
This is the second fox caught upside down in the last year.
