Children from an Enfield school have been showcasing their winter poems at a local library.
Pupils at George Spicer Primary School in Southbury Road, Enfield, have been using their creative talent to come up with seasonal poems and descriptive verses.
Despite the apparent lack of snow in Enfield this winter, pupils from Reception to Year 6 were drawn to the white stuff when writing their work.
Pupils have put their masterpieces on display at Enfield Town Library in Church Street, Enfield.
Assistant headteacher Amanda Gable said: “This has given the children at a school a purpose to their writing and somewhere to showcase their excellent pieces.
“We hope that this will inspire the children to continue writing more poetry and descriptive work in the future.”
