Students from Chile and Argentina enjoyed a week in the life of a Brooklands College student.

The South American teenagers visited the UK as part of the experiment in international living project, which aims to break down stereotypes and increase cross culture appreciation.

Along with students from the media department at the college, the visitors made short films about the differences between life as a teenager in the UK compared with South America.

Agustina Perondi, 16, from Buenos Aires, was among the students who visited.

She said: “Our experience at Brooklands College has been fantastic. The students and staff have made us very welcome, we were fully involved in the project from writing concept boards to filming the videos.

“We’ve made some good friends here at the college and will definitely stay in touch through Facebook.”

The South American students will spend the rest of their summer break in the UK visiting other colleges before they return home.
