A SINGLE Bromley lass is inviting hunky men to bid for her company on Valentine's Day.

Hope Anscomb, 24, is offering herself up for a dinner date on February 14 with the auction money going towards The Autism Trust.

The bachelorette said she’s hoping to see lots of high bids but would love to find true romance at the same time.

Miss Anscomb, of Valley Road, said: "It would be brilliant if it turned out I found Mr Right.

"I’ve never been on a blind date before although I’ve done internet dating.

"Everyone is just assuming some creepy guy is going to find me but I think whoever bids will already have a good sense of humour.

"I’ll have no clue who it is but it will be fun. I’m really looking forward to it."

Miss Anscomb said she’s booked fancy Italian restaurant La Gourmandina in Bloomsbury for the night and is forking out for the meal - but stressed that drinks are not included.

She said she’s a big fan of Italy and wouldn’t turn down the chance to share the date with a man from the country, though added a previous encounter with a Latin gentleman didn’t end particularly well.

The fundraiser said the cause means a lot to her as a family member and a close friend’s brother suffer from the disorder.

She has already raised £1,800 for the cause since September last year with events including a 24 hour hula-hoop session, bag packing at a local supermarket, running a kissing booth and growing a moustache for Movember.

"I really enjoy the charity work," explained the Valentine’s Day sweetheart, "I don’t want to do something boring.

"I want to do silly things which people will pay money to see me do. There’s got to be a good reason.

"Getting to know new people is great - it’s social."

She also said she won’t stop at an evening out - her next plan is to pose naked as a life drawing model and intends to auction off the picture.

All proceeds from Miss Anscomb’s date night will go to The Autism Trust.
