Historical games and toys will bring some childhood nostalgia to Elmbridge Museum.
Youngsters will be able to take a look at a selection of childhood play things and make their own exciting toys to take home and show off to the whole family.
Councillor Jan Fuller, portfolio holder for leisure and culture, said: “Throughout the ages, children have had huge fun playing with toys and although toys and games have evolved dramatically over the years, the joy of playing has remained the same.
“Elmbridge Museum has a great collection of toys from different eras and the family fun event on Saturday will provide the perfect excuse to have a close look at and handle the fascinating and exciting toys children used to play with in yesteryear.”
Playtime is part of a series of family fun events held at the museum once a month.
Playtime; Elmbridge Museum, Church Street, Weybridge; February 8, 2pm to 4.30pm; £1.50 per child, all children must be accompanied by an adult; for more information call 01932 843573 or visit elmbridge.gov.uk/museum.
