A man will appear in court on Monday after an alleged attack outside a chicken and pizza shop in Leatherhead.

Joseph O’Leary, 23, of Hill View Close, Tadworth, has been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm outside the Royal Chicken in North Street.

At the time police said an 18-year-old man suffered a suspected fractured jaw and skull and lost at least one tooth at 2.20am on Saturday, November 23.

Mr O’Leary will appear at South East Surrey Magistrates’ Court in Redhill on Monday.
