THE annual Hillingdon’s Hidden Talent competition returns to the Compass Theatre, Ickenham, next month.
The contest, organized by Hillingdon Council, showcases undiscovered singers, dancers, comedians and other entertainers.
The winner will receive a professional show reel or music video of their act, courtesy of Talking Pictures (UK). The top three entrants in three categories, solo acts, under-16 solo acts and groups, will also receive prizes.
A special award is available for the most unusual routine.
Last year’s winner in the Under-25 category, singer-songwriter, Gabrielle Rego, said: “It's great exposure. You get to share your talent with people that enjoy music as much as you do.
“I had a really enjoyable experience. The audience were great and I didn't expect to win.”
Entry to Hillingdon’s Hidden Talent is free and can be made at www.hillingdon.gov.uk/talent
Deadline for submissions is February 7.
Audience tickets can be bought for £3.50 from the Compass Theatre on 01895 673200 or by visiting www.compasstheatre.co.uk
