Officers investigating a rape where the attacker pretended to be a council worker have thanked the public for their help but are yet to make a significant breakthrough.
A woman in her 40s was raped by a man claiming to be a council worker who called at her home on the Benhill estate on Saturday, January 11.
Police have increased patrols in the area near where the assault happened and are appealing for anyone who has any information to come forward.
The suspect is a black man, 5ft 4in tall, bald, and wore a blue, round-necked fleece with an orange or red logo on the breast.
Detective Sergeant David Adam said: "We want to thank members of the public the information they have supplied so far.
"This is being followed up but we want to encourage anyone else who has any information to get in touch."
Police have urged people to be on their guard against suspect callers and say not to allow any unsolicited visitors into your house. They also encourage the use of spy-holes and door chains.
Genuine Sutton Council workers will carry identification and you can check workers' identities by calling its call centre on 0208 770 5000.
