Elmbridge Council’s achievements and challenges were thrust into the spotlight last week.
From council tax to refuse collection, people gave their views on the services they receive from the council at Let’s Talk Elmbridge on Wednesday, January 15, and listened to councillors and senior officers about the council’s activities in the past year.
Councillor John O’Reilly said: “We were pleased to see so many residents on the night. As a council we are keen to be accountable and open to the communities we serve.
“I would like to thank all the residents and local business representatives who spared the time to attend and asked searching questions about their local services.”
People unable to attend the meeting, but who would like to be involved in future consultation events and activities, can join the residents’ panel.
