Hampton School students celebrated their success after 27 pupils were offered Oxbridge places.
With an average of at least five candidates for every place, the competition for offers from Oxford and Cambridge was extremely fierce.
Pupils completed admissions exams and interviews to win a place at the renowned universities.
The successful candidates from Hampton School’s sixth form were offered places on a wide range of courses with engineering the most popular this year, with six offers.
Headmaster Kevin Knibbs congratulated the boys on their hard work and diligence.
He said: “These results are testament to a lot of hard work from the boys as well as truly excellent teaching.
“It is particularly pleasing to see that our 27 successful boys have been offered places in 18 different subject areas, illustrating the quality across the entire range of academic departments at Hampton.”
