More than 2,000 people have signed a petition against proposals to turn a set of playing fields into a towing caravan site.
Members of the Save Broadfields campaign group collected the signatures after plans were submitted for the site, of Headstone Lane earlier this year.
Owners of the site Harrow Community Sport handed in the plans to Harrow Borough Council planning department for the construction of 75 pitches and other buildings.
Proposals for the site were first submitted in April last year and proved controversial with people living nearby who managed to collect more than 4,000 signatures in opposition.
The plans were withdrawn by landowner Richard Gabriel in May before councillors on the planning committee could make a decision.
In the latest application the owners say they have gathered more evidence to prove a caravan site on the fields can work and will not cause traffic disruption.
