Primary school pupils are being encouraged to aim high after receiving a donation for climbing rocks to be installed in their playground.

Chartered accountancy firm Harris Lipman donated £1,000 to Pardes House Primary School in Hendon Lane, Finchley, to pay for the handholds, which have been fixed to the wall of their playground.

The donation was made as part of the firm’s Harris Lipman Foundation, which was set up after the London 2012 Games to provide funding to clubs and schools that need financial support for children's sporting activities.

Martin Atkins, managing partner at Harris Lipman, said: “We are delighted our donation has been used in this way and that pupils at the school are already getting so much enjoyment out of it, while also keeping fit.”
