Wedding dresses from across the past century will go on display just before Valentine’s Day.

Women have contributed their wedding dresses, dating back to 1910, for an exhibition at Christ Church, Epsom Common.

It is part of the church’s week-long festival, called Love Fest, in celebration of love and marriage.

The festival kicks off with the Big Promise world record attempt where couples have been invited to come and renew their wedding vows.

There is also a children’s activity morning towards the end of the week.

Revd Rosemary Donovan, the vicar of the church, says: "Christ Church is a popular venue for weddings, and this is a fantastic opportunity not only to enjoy this unusual exhibition but to see the interior of this beautiful building."

A Century of Wedding Dresses; Christ Church, Epsom Common in Christ Church Road, Epsom; Saturday, February 8 to Sunday, February 16; open daily from 10.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.

The children’s activity morning will be held on Friday, February 15.
