THREE people were taken to hospital after a crash on the A2 London bound this lunchtime (JAN 21).

All the lanes are reopened following the incident which occurred right before the Ebbsfleet turn off (A2260 Southfleet Road).

Ambulances and firefighters rushed to the scene, which involved two vehicles, and three people were taken to Medway Maritime Hospital with minor injuries.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: "We were called to the incident at around 1.20pm. 

"All the lanes have now been cleared."

A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance said: "We sent three ambulances to the scene and took two people to hospital, including one man in his 20s who was suffering from back pain."
