A woman was robbed at knifepoint while using a cash machine at a petrol station in Hook.

The 38-year-old victim was drawing out money at the Ace of Spades Shell garage in Hook Rise North at 11.40pm on Wednesday, January 15.

A man approached her with a knife and threatened her, before stealing the cash.

Kingston police are appealing for help in finding the suspect and have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the robbery.

Detective Inspector Justin Howick of Kingston CID said: "Thankfully, the victim wasn't injured during the robbery but it goes without saying that this was a harrowing and frightening incident. If you recognise this man, please contact police."
