Police from three boroughs took part in a police operation to tackle anti-social behaviour in Finsbury Park.
More than 40 officers carried out stop and searches outside Finsbury Park station on Thursday afternoon as part of an operation involving police from Haringey, Islington and Hackney.
British Transport Police assisted officers, and representatives from the police Outreach programme were also on hand to help street drinkers, drug users, beggars and rough sleepers.
They worked around the station and within the park to prevent robberies, snatch and grab thefts, assaults and prevent anti-social behaviour.
Sergeant Aaron Barnes, from Islington neighbourhood policing team, said: "We continue to work with the community and are addressing those issues which concern them most.
“As a result of the joint partnership event, we have made a number of arrests and seizures that will improve the quality of life for those who live in the Finsbury Park area."
