A play area in Enfield is set to get a £40,000 upgrade from Enfield Borough Council and the London Marathon Trust.
The Enfield Residents Priority Fund has provided funding for the Wilbury Way Open space in Edmonton will be renovated.
There will now be a consultation with the friends of the park group and residents in the area about what features will be implemented.
Councillor Chris Bond, cabinet member for environment, said: “It’s great news that we can get on with renovating this playground and provide the families living around Wilbury Way Open Space with a high quality play area which meets their needs.”
