The schedule for the “biggest women-only, free event” in Waltham Forest has been announced.
Waltham Forest Women’s Network (WFWN) will host a celebration of International Women’s Day in March.
With the help of local groups, including women’s institute Stow Roses, anti-violence campaign group Waltham Forest Rising, community sewing group Significant Seams and the council, WFWN describe the day is an opportunity for local women to showcase their talents and services and to network.
Performances, a fashion show, speakers, workshops and food are some of the activities available on the day.
All women are welcome on March 8 at the Waltham Forest Assembly Hall in Forest Road, Walthamstow, from 2pm until 8.30pm.
