A carol service at Rowan Preparatory School, Claygate, raised more than £500 for the Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation for Disabled People (QEF).
The school held the Christmas service to raise money towards providing a disabled child with a Bugzi motorised wheelchair.
As a thank you for the £557 donation, Maxime Sabatini from QEF visited the school to show pupils how the wheelchair works.
Students were impressed with how a Bugzi can make such a difference to a young person’s life and hope to raise more money for the charity at future events.
