An Elmbridge charity that supports people in their own homes has welcomed a new manager ahead of its 25th birthday celebrations.
Lesley Blythe, 64, from West Molesey, took over as manager at Home Support Elmbridge in the new year and wants to help the charity grow.
She said: “I used to manage Crossroads Care for many years so I have always had a passion for supporting people in their own homes.
“I knew about Home Support Elmbridge and when it lost its manager, I thought it was something I could use my skills to enable this small charity to carry on and grow.
“I am a people person and am passionate about keeping people in their own homes and we can give them some services to help with that.”
The charity helps the elderly, people with disabilities and people in need by doing chores, helping with personal hygiene and providing peace of mind.
