A drunk driver was taken to hospital after he crashed into a roundabout in the early hours of the morning.
A crew from Twickenham Fire Station was called to the A316 at about 1am today, January 12, to find the driver had crashed into the central barriers of the apex roundabout, near Twickenham Golf Course.
A spokesman for the station said: “It was someone who was inebriated.
“There was a driver and passenger in the vehicle, but no one was hurt.”
A spokesman for the London Ambulance service said: "We were called at 1.05am to reports of a road traffic collision at the apex corner roundabout.
"We sent one ambulance crew to the scene.
"Staff treated one patient - a man with monor injuries.
"He was treated and taken to West Middlesex Hospital."
