South West London Branch of Youth Organisation Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association will plant around 2,000 trees next week.
The group, including young Muslims from Merton, Wandsworth and Sutton, will be at Old Lodge Farm on Sunday January 19 to help boost efforts to improve the country’s environment.
The project forms part of the association’s national tree planting initiative that has seen more than 50,000 trees planted in the previous year nationwide.
