Attended for a while early yesterday and found it really buzzing, with loads of Harrovians keen to take advantage of the excellent taster sessions provided!Very lively atmosphere and well attended. The variety of activities was quite amazing.Even more to know that the activities will be available to our school children during the mid-trem and easter holidays. What a boon for both parents and children!

Harrow has a Leisure Centre that we can be really proud of and a place where keeping fit is within the reach of most folk. The Olympians also turned out at the swimming pool and caused much excitement.

Representatives from "Everyone Active"were most helpful and encouraging and took us around so many areas pointing out various activities with the intention of helping us enrol and keep fit.Our Leisure Centre is a real asset for the borough and its residents. The refurbishment is a real investment and will be a place of great fun as well ---seeing the dancing and other forms of activities which were also included. The cafetarias were also full and people seemed to like them.

My good wishes for its success and for the people of Harrow to take up as many activities as possible to keep them happy and healthy.

Mayor of Harrow,Cllr Nana Asante and many other VIPs attended the opening ceremony of this event making it all the more special for the public. All in all,a very successful day and well organised event.
