The Environment Agency issued flood warnings for the borough this morning.

The warnings cover properties closest to the Thames between Raven’s Ait and Teddington Weir and also the riverside area at Hampton and Hampton Wick.

This includes properties on Barge Walk, Hampton Court Palace Golf Club and Hampton Court Road.

A flood warning means flooding is expected and action is required.

The Environment Agency said the river level was expected to continue to rise and would be further affected by the high tide at 9.30am.

Weather prospects are for further showers this morning.
