Fun and games: But school places are serious business
There is less than a week to the deadline for next year’s school places.
Surrey County Council, which handles applications for state schools, closes the application cycle for the September 2014 infant, junior and primary schools on Wednesday, January 15.
Parents who miss the deadline will be dealt with after all applications submitted by the deadline have been processed, and their chances of getting their child into one of their preferred schools will be reduced.
