A hospice has thanked kind-hearted shoppers for supporting their Christmas appeal by donating presents to sick children.
The Broadwalk Centre, in Edgware, urged people to buy an extra present for the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice appeal.
In total, the centre raised £118 for the charity.
Priya Singh, community fundraising manager at Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice, collected the presents. She said: “On behalf of Noah’s Ark we would like to thank The Broadwalk Centre for inviting us to organise a charity collection and for donating some lovely toys from their present appeal.
“Where possible we will use these gifts as presents throughout the year in goodie bags or activities for our family events, or as presents for each child we support. If any are not suitable for the children, they will be used by our fundraising team to raise vital funds to continue our work.”
