The final member of a gang who carried out armed robberies across the capital will be sentenced today.
Russell Aljaf, 20, of Marsham Street, Westminster, will be sentenced at Harrow Crown Court for his part in robberies by a gang who used taxis to travel around London committing armed robberies at hotels, as well as robbing minicab drivers and members of the public.
Among their targets was The King Solomon Hotel in Golders Green where they entered armed with a handgun in March. Once inside, they threatened the hotel staff and stole cash.
Aljaf changed his plea four days into his trial and admitted conspiracy to rob, burglary and possession of an imitation firearm.
He also pleaded guilty to being in possession of an imitation firearm for the purposes of crime, relating to an offence in February 2013.
