People across the borough have been encouraged to have their say on how public money is spent over the next financial year.

Haringey Borough Council has launched a consultation on its budget for the 2014/15 financial year.

The plans, which will be discussed by the cabinet and full meeting of the council this year, include a commitment to freeze council tax for a fifth consecutive year.

It also includes proposals about which areas the council plans to invest, as well as how it will deal with continued reductions in government funding.

The consultation is open until January 26, 2014.
