Anyone looking to shed some weight in the new year is in luck as a brand new centre is opening next week.
Weight Watchers is opening a new hub at Goals Soccer Centre in London Road, Cheam, so people can drop in at times of day to suit them and get weighed, find out weight loss tips and find out more about meetings closer to them.
To mark the opening of the hub, Weight Watchers is holding an event where non-members will be able to find out more about the organisation from 9.45am to 7pm on Tuesday, January 7.
Sutton mayor Councillor Sean Brennan will be at the event, as will Cheam woman Donna King, 49, who lost four-and-a-half stone with the organisation and is now planning to run the London Marathon.
Mrs King will be giving a speech at the event at 4pm.
