Jewellery and money stolen in burglaries in Potters Bar

Jewellery and money were stolen in three burglaries in the same street before Christmas.

The thefts took place in neighbouring properties in The Drive, Potters Bar between 5pm and 6pm on Friday, December 20, when householders were out.

The burglaries are being linked and detectives believe the same suspects are responsible for the crimes.

Anyone with information should call the police on 101.

Not that Dave, another one. says...

4-7pm is the peak time for burglaries according to the police who respond to these events in our neighbourhood. It's not the traditional idea of the 3am cat burglar. As residents we need to be aware of that, and in particular report anything suspicious.
