The popularity of the Sutton Guardian's website has continued to grow this year with more and more readers clicking on each story. But which stories have been the most clicked-on of the year?

This sad story shows the popularity of breaking news on the website. The man in question was hurt by a train arriving into Sutton station. Not only was there concern for the man's health, but the incident caused severe disruption for travellers.
We were sent hundreds of pictures of spiders after Sutton's false widow outbreak - although many of the pictures people sent were of different species. This piece challenges people to spot the real false widows.

Police were forced to increase patrols after a man followed a girl down an alley in Beddington.

A teenage girl caught a man staring at her while masturbating on the 151 bus. She had the speed of thought to take a picture of the man which she sent to police and the Sutton Guardian. In the end the publicity helped catch Morden man James Gathercole who admitted the offence and was jailed for four months. This was our most shared story on Twitter.

As police released this image of a man suspected of the attempted abduction of a girl in Beddington, thousands of readers shared and viewed it.
When we broke the news that a man had tried to abduct a girl in an alley in Beddington thousands of concerned members of the public read and shared the story making it our most read story of the year. This was also our most shared story on Facebook.
