Hundreds of vulnerable people will receive a free Christmas dinner in Barnet thanks to a festive hamper campaign.
More than 300 churchgoers joined forces at Jesus House in Brent Cross to help pack the hampers, which will be delivered to those in financial need.
Each hamper contains a turkey with all the trimmings, as well as festive goodies including a Christmas album which was recorded at Jesus House by gospel artists including the Tribe of Judah choir.
MP for Hendon, Matthew Offord, also dropped in to lend a hand packing the boxes last Friday.
Since 2006 the hamper initiative has seen more than 12,000 hampers distributed to people living in Barnet.
