Children who created lanterns lit them up for a festive procession through Teddington.
Teddington Business Community got groups of schoolchildren, Brownies and members of community groups to create the paper and willow lanterns for the wish for Christmas procession.
The procession was led by Santa on his sleigh and started at the Memorial Hospital end of Broad Street before travelling through the Causeway, Middle Lane and Elleray Road.
The lantern-lit procession returned to Broad Street and went along to the Baptist Church in Church Road where carol singing finished off the festivities on Sunday, December 15.
Anne Moore, of the Teddington Business Community committee, said: "The procession looked amazing. It created a magical Christmassy atmosphere that was driven by the joyus energy of the lantern carriers as it weaved its way through our streets."
