Housing tenants who volunteer their time to make their area a nicer place to live were treated to a Christmas dinner.
Harrow Borough Council hosted the event for its tenants to thank them for their hard work volunteering throughout the year.
The festive event was held at the civic centre last week and included a quiz, live music, food and was also a chance for people to share their experiences.
Cabinet member for housing Cllr Barry Macleod-Cullinane said: “Volunteering is very much the social glue that binds our community together.
“It’s great that the council’s resident involvement team have been able to host a 'thank you' event for those tenants and leaseholders who’ve given up their own time to help improve the quality of life of their neighbours and their estates.”
